Hi Davy,

You really should read people's messages more carefully, Lisa has in fact
updated and then posted her message that she felt the phone used too much
battery, she wrote this:

Hi, all. I'm using an eighteen month old iPhone SE. I've had iOS 12 for over
a month and I'm still plagued by battery issues.

Rob I think was the one who then posted that he was still on 10.3.3 and glad he
hadn't updated yet. Is such a message useful, maybe not, but your reply is
pretty judgemental and it's not useful, either. It is everybody's choice
whether they want to update or not, but telling somebody to just update and
stop argueing about battery when in fact she has updated and is simply stating
a fact is rude.
I do agree that iOS 12 is much better than iOS 10 ever was and I also replied
to Rob telling him that and listing a few features which I think make iOS 12
pretty compelling.
As for lisa's battery drain issue it is of course something which she needs to
address if she had better battery life before. I doubt she expects her phone to
stay at 100% as somebody else suggested, but if a phone is locked and on Do Not
Disturb and nothing else is going on I agree that battery drain at best should
be minimal. She says her phone drained 8% in 6 or 7 hours with no useage
whatsoever, I actually don't think that is outrageous although I also think
it's maybe more than it should be since I would say in the perfect world this
should be maybe 3% or 4%.
Lisa, did you ever try the Reset Network Settings? I also was surprised by
something else and that is that at one point a few weeks ago I plugged in my
phone at night and then turned it off for some reason. I forgot to turn it on
until the next morning and when I then turned it on and unplugged it I found my
battery seemed to last longer than before.

Regards,
Sieghard

Hi Lisa
The statement you tell the list not yet having done the update to
ios12.0.1 is really useless even for yourselves.
maybe your issues are the fact that you are still using ios10.3.3
while most apps have been updated to the needs for ios12.0.1. I don't
know whetehr you are a braille user or not but the most sluggiest and
worst braille version of ios at all is ios10.3. The most smooth and
snappiest version of all also in braille mode is ios12. So please
update your devices Lisa and stop arguing about your battery drainings
which very lokely are caused by youw own anxiety to update.
Regards
Davy
