There are very few people who have such battery issues and doing a few simple preparations before you upgrade like making sure all apps are closed and turning your phone off and back on reduce the likelyhood even further. Apart from that I certainly enjoy how snappy iOS 12 is on my iPhone 6S Plus, how stabil it runs and features like SIRI Shortcuts, Airplay 2 etc. Hopefully person to person payments with Apple Pay will make it to Canada soon since that is another really neat feature I know I would use since most of my friends and family have iPhones. iOS 12 is by far the best iOS Apple has released in the last 5 or so years.
