The WayLink scanner is $99, but The app is free and you don't need the scanner, you can just buy the tags and use the iPhone which should be fine unless you plan to label stuff where you want to read a dozen tags maybe in quick succession.
Anyways, you can just go to the AT Guys webpage<https://www.atguys.com/store/index.php>, use heading level 2 for "New Products" and you find all the labels or put "WayAround" in the Jaws search box and continue to press F3 and it goes to all the different labels, buttons, starter packages, the scanner etc. The WayAround – Tag your everything<https://www.atguys.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=49> page also has the products and a bit of information about how it works although it’s pretty self-explanatory. -----Original Message----- From: viphone@googlegroups.com <viphone@googlegroups.com> On Behalf Of Mr. Ed Sent: Wednesday, April 17, 2019 5:39 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: RE: WayAround app and identification/labelling system How much is this little unit? So first, the labels are affixed to buttons or clips or they're stickers. If you were using the button, you'd attach it at the back of your shirt at the collar most likely. They have two buttons, one that can be pinned and another than is better sewn in. The tags are somewhat expensive and went up recently, but they'll last forever and are rewriteable. You can use the phone directly if you have a later model phone, I think 8 and up, but if not, they have a tiny reader that pairs with the phone. My phone qualifies, but I bought the reader because to use the phone I had to take it out of its case. So I prefer the little reader. It's very rast and you can get a lot on a tag. I have found it to be quite useful as these things go, and although the initial outlay was a bit, because I bought a variety of the tag types, I've not had to spend anymore. The buttons that you pin and the stickers which come in those that work on metal and those that do not have all been the most useful to me thus far.
