Hey Robin: You might want to report this to you version so they can look at what’s going on. I haven’t seen that situation where the edit field works for some models but not others. I don’t have other models to test with. You might also let accessibility from Apple know about it too. Sorry you’re having so much trouble!

I wish it did. Now I have taken to finding the edit field’s approximate screen location hover over it, toggle VoiceOver off with the power button tap on the field and it activates then I can turn VoiceOver back on and type into it.
