Well, if we don’t report it to the developer, it won’t be fixded. We pay our 
money same as anyone else and deserve to have the product work for us.

Well, I know if we don’t report such things whatever they are to whomever, they 
won’t be fixed but I wonder if in most cases do they really care? It’s not 
really affecting most people—at least the people who can see. I just wonder how

I reported it to them back in August when it first surfaced for me then it got 
better and now it's broken again.  So they are aware of it or at least the 
volunteers that seem to answer emails are I assure you. As to whether that 
information actually reaches their app developers is any guess.

Hi,

That used to work for me too but now that won’t even work on my 12 Pro Max.  I 
wish it did.

Now I have taken to finding the edit field’s approximate screen location hover 
over it, toggle VoiceOver off with the power button tap on the field and it 
activates then I can turn VoiceOver back on and type into it. I wish double tap 
and hold still worked for me as it used to once upon a time.

I have this same problem. How I get around it is do a double tap and hold on 
the edit field and then it will work. I don’t know hwy this happens, but that 
is how i fix it.

I write today because I’m having the strangest issue with an edit field within 
this app.  Specifically in the bible plans area when one is in the talk it over 
area I am finding that the edit field for entering your thoughts activates just 
fine with a double tap on an iPhone 12 mini but simply won’t activate no matter 
what I do on an iPhone 12 Pro Max.  Both phones are running version 14.3 of the 
operating system and the same version of the You Version Bible app.

writers might know what might make an edit field not responsive on a specific 
model of device as opposed to being universally broken. I’m trying to gather as 
much information as I can so that when I report that it is still broken perhaps 
if I give them something meaningful with which to work they might be less 
likely to swat me aside like an annoying fly. 😂

In all seriousness if anyone can add to my understanding of this issue or offer 
a work-around it’d make me ever so happy.
