Hi Terri,

I'm not sure what you mean by columns but I don't think of iPads being in
column formats

As for an iPad,

Yeah sure if you want to have another device that you may not really need.

Have you thought about just using your phone to do what you need to?

You can get some nice little portable keyboards for the iPhone which might be
helpful to you.

As for iPads and keyboard,
I found it more difficult to find a Bluetooth folio keyboard for my ipad mini 5
than it would have been for the iPad

Have a look at the price of the devices first and compare a standard iPad or
iPad Air 4
To the price of an ipad mini 5
Note also the ipads now have the ability to take / use smart folio keyboards
from apple,
So a specially built keyboard for the ipads
Which apple don't make for the minis,
My personal thought is that this is an absolute bummer

So check things out before you buy as you can use your phone for everything you
can do on the ipad.

Subject: Considering purchasing an iPad

Hello everyone,

I am considering purchasing an iPad. I am trying to decide it is really what I
want to do. I had an iPad Mini, several years ago. I can do a lot on my phone,
and I use it all the time.

However, sometimes I don't want to have to use my phone all the time. I still
enjoy using my laptop. So I am just trying to decide what I should do.

My first question is this.

When using the iPad, is the screen still set up in columns?

If so, is there still not a way to turn this off?

That was one of my biggest complaints with the iPad before.

Also, are there bluetooth keyboard cases out now, for the iPad Mini?

If I do decide to make this purchase, I will likely go with the Mini.

Thank you,

Terri
