Hi Richard, Your steps are clear and well describe.
It shows the process I’ve used in the past. Sadly, the steps stop working for me at the point of opening the folder. When I double tap to open the folder nothing happens if I’m dragging an app. I can only open a folder if not dragging a app. The only work around I’ve found is to use the edit and add to drag commands to drag an app near the folder I want and drop it there. Then I stop editing and use the double tap and hold one finger on the app to move. I then drag it onto the folder. It says open folder and I release and the app is in the folder. I can then use the edit and add to drag to move the app to the place in the folder I want. The reason I can’t follow your steps is that when dragging an app I can’t open the folder I want it to go into. I double tap and nothing happens. I can only open a folder when I’m not dragging something. Interesting that it works as normal on your 16 Pro but not on my 15 pro running 18.1.
