Hi folks. I'm trying to pair an Ipad 2 with a Braille Edge via Bluetooth. There are no Braille devices connected to the pad now. I have two problems: •1) The "accessibility," option is off the bottom of the "Settings," home screen. To reach it, I must turn VO off, swipe up and then turn VO on again, and find the Accessibility button.
•2) Once in Accessibility/Vo/Braille, the Braille Edge DOES show up with the pad searches for it. HOwever, the Edge requires a "0000," pin. In order to put in the 0000, I must go to the Ipad's keyboard, make the 'more," tap area say "Numbers," then find and enter four 0's. Inevitably, I get a "pairing took too long," from the Ipad, and, no matter how I try, the Edge never again shows up in the list of devices. First, is there a way to get to the Accessibility, or even the VO utilities area in a handier fashion? Second: Is there a quicker way to get four 0's into the keyboard? I have managed to type in the keyboard area enough to put the Pad on my network, but for some reason I can't beat the time limit. It's like Perfection from hell. Thanks for any suggestions. :) D • Mark BurningHawk Baxter • AIM, Skype and Twitter: BurningHawk1969 • MSN: [email protected] • My home page: • http://MarkBurningHawk.net/ Mark BurningHawk Skype and Twitter: BurningHawk1969 Home page: Http://MarkBurningHawk.net/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
