As I noted in another message, the split keyboard was on, and I turned it off, and made to put 0000 in in time, and now they're paired. As I remember, though, Zoom is off, but I'll check again when I get back. But I cry victory regarding pairing the Edge; I now have another way to control the Pad. I also paired it to my Macbook, and foresee it being very helpful and handy in large-scale writing / editing projects, which is just another one of my hats. YAY ME! :)
