Do you have Zoom on as well as VO, because if you do, that changes a lot of the gestures. If you do not have Zoom on, then when you did the three finger flick up, you only got two fingers to register because the three finger flick up will always scroll up the page. It sounds like your keyboard on the iPad has gotten split. I have not got an iPad here at home to test with, but I believe the split keyboard setting is just part of the keyboard settings under Settings, General, Keyboard. Also, for me, whenever I go to pair a device, the keyboard does not show up, there is simply a number pad on the screen, but like I say, I don't have an iPad here to double check. perhaps someone who has an iPad and a braille device can chime in here.
