One suggestion which might work if Apple would do it is double tap and hold to 
go into wiggle mode. Then triple tap an app to market for moving. This way it 
would bypass the double tap on the app to delete it. So in my suggestion if you 
triple tap an app it will market for moving. Then you can find the Square or 
the page you want to move it to and do a triple tap on that new location and 
the app would be dragged there instantly. I personally don't have any issues 
with the way it works now, but I also understand that it can be difficult for 
some people to master or get comfortable with.
