I reset my phone the other day, because I thought maybe it would change my voice calling setting back to saying the number back to me in English instead of French or whatever the heck it's saying when it repeats the number. I thought everything was fine. The phone was working till yesterday afternoon, when I was out. I had been out a couple hours or so with my phone in my purse. My friend and I stopped somewhere to get her some lunch, and I stayed in the car. I took the phone out of my purse while she was inside placing her order, and realized it was not speaking. I thought, well maybe we are in an area with no signal, and figured once I got it home and on its charger again speech and sounds would come back. Well they haven't. I only get the sound when I lock the screen, reset by pressing home and power, which I haven't done much of that; and I hear my chime clock on the phone when it goes off. Nothing else, not even the little blips you hear when your unlocking the screen or going through apps. I tried restoring the phone through itunes, nothing. I tried the triple tap on the screen and with the home key, nothing. It's a mystery, for sure. Anybody got any thoughts?
