Hi Patty. I also had this happen just the ohter day. No I didn't have the problem with the French voice grin but merely rebooted the phone. Voiceover never came back and I had to restore it using iTunes. This has happened to me more then once and I can't explain why. Not happy about it but hopefully apple will fix it even though it is quite random it does happen more often now.
