The phone isn't muted and the volume is 100%. I think I know what it is, I bet my sounds are way down but can't fix them without sighted help. Also I do think there is something wrong with the volume button, it looks more recessed than the other one and I don't think it should. Patti

I thought, well maybe we are in an area with no signal, and figured once I got it home and on its charger again speech and sounds would come back. Well they haven't. I only get the sound when I lock the screen, reset by pressing home and power, which I haven't done much of that; and I hear my chime clock on the phone when it goes off. Nothing else, not even the little blips you hear when your unlocking the screen or going through apps. I tried restoring the phone through itunes, nothing. I tried the triple tap on the screen and with the home key, nothing. It's a mystery, for sure. Anybody got any thoughts?
