With the greatest of respect, I disagree with the note below. The seeing eye 
application does provide additional description of intersections and actually 
provides true turn by turn directions that are usable by a blind person in a 
fashion that is much better than the other applications. For example, if you're 
doing a pedestrian route with this application, you're more likely to end up on 
the right side of the street to reach your destination then you are with some 
of the other GPS applications. In addition, if you do want to receive map 
updates on Navigon, You do have to pay an extra fee. Thanks.
