Hi, Its pretty simple. The first thing you want to do is on your phone go to settings/iCloud. Now double tap the storage and backup button. On the next screen, there will be a checkbox to turn iCloud on. What this does is allow your device to be backed up automatically when connected to wifi, and plugged in. Under that will be a backup now button. You use this if you want to back up your device manually. The Backup will save your settings. It doesn’t actually back up your apps though, just your app information. So when you restore from the backup, the apps will be redownloaded and placed in the same folders and positions you have on your homescreen.
