cool!  great to have you back, jeff.

i've been quite busy lately with work and travel.  siggraph '99 was 
very cool, followed by an amazing trip to burning man in nevada.

my (limited) spare time has been diverted to a project that might be 
kind of interesting to you guys.  i'll let you know when i have more 
information.
