This removes any doubts about Robert Park. He has not given one inch. Not one nanometer. I think Steve Krivit and some other people detected a change in his attitude back when he said that cold fusion "is science." Perhaps he meant the neutron studies only, or perhaps he changed his mind again.

Anyway, he is unimportant. If it wasn't him it would be someone else playing his role. As Ed Storms says, the only reason anyone gives credence to Park's views on cold fusion is because many establishment people agree with him. In the case of cold fusion, he is not an opinion maker, but merely one who echoes a widespread opinion.
