The first thing that came to mind when I read that is that it wasn't even a 
working reactor... 
 
Rossi really doesn't want to do any more of these time-wasting demos, and 
spending time setting one
up, making sure it's working properly, etc. so he just reduced the flow rate 
and cranked up the
heater power... got it started before Steve arrived and all was good.
 
Can't say I blame him... I'd be getting pretty tired of the dog-n-pony shows 
too, and just wanting
to focus on making sure the Oct date is a success.
