But there is a large table of experiments in which tritium was observed, and nickel was the substrate in seven cases. Electrolysis was used in most of those cases. In at least one instance the system was Ni-H gas, where the tritium was seen at 777 times above the background level. Any number of substrates were used in systems producing tritium.
