They are unimportant details. However, if you run a business in the U.S., and you do this sort of thing, people will soon doubt what you say. People will say you cried "wolf" too often and they will dismiss your claims. Maybe that is not the case in Greece. Maybe their behavior would not be considered rude there. But here in the U.S. you explain and you apologize, or you will have difficulty attracting investors and customers. Your reputation matters.
