Hi all

Despite being advised against by the majority of the group re upgrading to a "fast"
serial
port, I went ahead and did just that. A graphics card is just not a viable option, and
I hoped for an increase in transfer rate with a fast serial port.

I purhased a Power Point Junior which is fitted to the clock port. After fitting and
configuring Miami to Power Computings instructions I was pleased to find that e-mail
via YAM and news via FNews was working fine. However when I opened Voyager to browse
things were far slower than through the standard serial port. I'm almost certain this
can't be a Voyager problem but if anybody can offer advice either through the group or
directly I would be extremely grateful.

Jim
