I, too, ordered a fast serial card for my Amiga 2000, instead of buying a
graphics card. It's an IO Blix card, and I should have it around Wednesday.
My opinion is that, if I were to buy a graphics card, I'd still have the
bottleneck imposed by the built-in serial port. After reading about the card,
and how it speeds access while lessening the overhead on the CPU, I
made the decision to buy one. When I get a 4000, I can just take the card
and install it in that.

When mine is installed, I'll relay the results to the group, if it would be
helpful.
