See Amiga Format Issue 123 Page 61.  The "Bad Timing" box out says
that if you have a A1200 motherboard Rev 1.d.d or 2.b then you might
have problems (timing problems and transmission errors) with serial
cards attached to your clock port.  Eyetech
(http://www.eyetech.co.uk/support/s1200/amigamot.htm) and Power
Computing can both advise about this.
