I don't know anything about the expansion, but my first suggestion would be
to check the installation of the driver. Miami 3 allows you to set the
driver it uses (Under "Interface"), and I'd suggest entering the Power
Point Junior's driver directly into here, rather than relying upon any
pathcing of serial.device.
I don't know if this helps.
