There's a good reason why we are "hanging on". If, as I do, you have an
Amiga with graphics card and a Windows computer in the same room, you
will find that Voyager is simply nicer to use than IE or Netscape.
(That is, when it's not going through a bad crashing phase. But IE can
crash too.)
So I only turn to IE when I want to view a Real or QT4 file or similar.
And then I usually regret it because the controls are so tiresome.
It's hard to pin down exactly, but I think Voyager works on the basis
that you are probably an intelligent user who knows what he/she wants, while
IE is written for consumers who are seen mainly as a source of profit.
It is overloaded with pseudo-helpful tricks and features.
The Fast Links are one reason for staying with V.
