Agreed! I have a LAN in my apartment that includes 4 other Win95 machines
with Netscape or IE installed. I still find that the Amiga more than
holds its own  in speed and ease of use. And some of these machines are
Pentium II @ 300Mhz. There are few programs that I revert to an old
Pentium 233 machine for (controlled to VNC btw) but they are few and far
between.

Agreed. I think that is the whole philosophy behind Windows. I don't know
how many times I had turn off all these "helpful" features that just seem
to hog up memory and not much else. I especially hate all these programs
that intall themselves in the taskbar and run on startup. I would just
like to grab a hold of some these programers and tell them "Look, if I
wanted to run it at startup I would have put it in the startup folder
myself!!!" Well anyway, enough ranting.
