The problem is if everyone thinks like you do,then there will never be a new upgrade,
as it is not worth the cost?.
Look at the PC user's,most of the them have to upgrade if they want to use a certain
piece of new software (games etc),this also make's other software incompatible it's
sod's law!.
There will never be another ROM(hardware)upgrade anyway,as it is not worth the outlay
for so
few customer's,the next update (kick 3.5)will be a ROM image,that you load on startup?.

So if you are waiting for a ROM(hardware)update,then it could take a very long time!.
