Its got me beat! I have been trying to upload an iMovie (v 2.1.2) to a VCR using a Canopus ADVC-100.
Firewire cable from the iMac (OS v10.2.1) to the front panel of the ADVC-100, ADVC-100 dips' set to: Video Format, NTSC Setup Level, Locked Audio Mode, Audio Mode and Power-On Input Mode all set to OFF; and Input selector Mode set to ON Input selector indicator shows "Digital In" (Blue Light on) Color coded cables from Video and Audio OUT plugs on the back of the ADVC-100 to the Video/Audio IN plugs on the front of the VCR VCR channel set to L2 (The VCR book (Sharp VC-H610x) gives this as the connection/setup for a Camcord) iMovie recognises that a camera is connected Select Export Movie -- To Camera -- it starts to play OK Press record on the VCR and it does what it normally does when recording All I get is a recording of the AUDIO but NO picture on both the TV Monitor during the recording process (just a blue screen) and the same on the tape I am unable to play the iMovie on the Computer and monitor it on the TV when not recording I will appreciate any suggestions.
