Hi Tim,

Like Kevin, I intend to have both Dropbox AND MobileMe - as I see it, each
has its particular strengths and there is absolutely nothing stopping you
having both.

Obviously, one major pro of Dropbox is the cost, ie $0 (unless you want to
buy extra storage).

MobileMe obviously costs you every year (currently $99 for an individual
subscription) - but it offers more than just the 20 GB storage of iDisk.

I really like the simplicity and the "it just works" aspect of Dropbox - I
haven't yet activated my MobileMe subscription - so I can't directly compare
the user experience - but I have seen comments that a number of users find
Dropbox easier to keep folders in synch -as Kevin said:

> Anything you put into your DropBox folder is automatically sync'ed with the
> DropBox server and then, when you connect to the net with any of your other
> computers, that folder is sync'ed with your machines - no thinking needed (and
> for me that's a real bonus!)

Initially, my thought was: It costs nothing so let's give it a try - and
then, after giving it a try, WOW I really like this!

I guess if you tried it and for some reason found it was not for you, you
could always just stop using it and it hasn't cost you anything except the
time spent trying it out.

In the end, it all depends on your personal needs/wants - but I am certainly
happy with it so far.

Cheers

Neil
