Ronni, yes, Droplets work fine in a fresh account. Interestingly, I note that I am in general getting requests from Finder for authorisation when moving files or just trashing them. Seems to happen when nothing is locked and read and write is enabled for everything in sight. I suspect that this may be the trouble, the droplet writes to an existing folder, but where does it come from? I can find no setting that is relevant. Severin
