Is there a distinction between dev and deploy license ? YES Developer licence is for development (bundled with Tiger), deployment licence is for deployment (bundled with Tiger Server). Finally, is there a distinction between 'WAR deployment with tomcat' and 'other-kind-of deployment' (and in which case do we need a deploy license ? There is no distinction.
