You got it. WO is considered the Presentation/UI Layer -- that's it. Isn't that just horrible?! No EOF! The WO app communicates with another Java command-server transferring objects (POJOs) back and forth thru commands. I'd like to say JNLP (off the top of my head) but I'm not sure. I'm not the deepest of Java developers. But I do know WO/Java!

The app was inherited, but hey, not too bad. At least it wasn't in something else like JSP!

Hi!

The thing I don't understand is, how were you using WO without using EOF? Were you using just the presentation layers?

In general, we ARE in good shape ... with the exception that I've started working on an OpenLaszlo/Struts app (which is on hold) and am now on JSFaces development. I would LOVE to get back to WebO and even show them EOF! But perhaps it's too late. The only thing that can turn it around is the changes mentioned above (proprietariness and/or Windows support).
