Contribute a Package isn't where I would look (personally) for a list of available package repositories. The page you linked to above is specifically targeted at users contributing packages, instead of a providing short summary of available package repositories. It's great for its target audience, but we probably need something separate for other users. Maybe a new section above "Contribute a Package" and a new link to that page would work? > However, as a user myself, I admit to finding out about lifewithsolaris > on a mailing list and would agree that if Package Manager can't yet > suggest to me alternate repos, we might improve the experience by adding > this information to a web page. But, I don't think we should regard web > pages as a real solution. Neither packagemanager nor pkg(1) can yet suggest alternate repositories. That's functionality we're researching and hope to provide in the future, but until then, we heavily rely on the website to provide more information.
