Your gmail account isn't a mailing list.
Not to mention, gmail is a rather large, well funded operation where
you are required to subscribe to gmail mailing lists if you want to
post to a list. I know a bit about the infrastructure they have.
Perhaps we should stick to our reality which is 1 mail system, mailman
software and 2 sysadmins.
