Yes, my example was a bit extreme.  I was merely trying to make the
point that SPAM filtering (regardless of whether the destination is an
individual or a list of individuals, it makes no difference) can be done
using heuristics other than white lists.

Anyway, Alan's suggestion would without question be a big improvement.
