1) Is hub definitely part of the new URL names ? What happens if I go to:

http://www.opensolaris.org/bin/view/Community+Group+zfs/zfsbootFAQ
You'll get a 404.

Does hub have to be part of the new name ?
Yes, because the opensolaris.org and www.opensolaris.org hostnames are
already in use by the current portal and Jive, which both live inside
the same webserver. We'll be turning off the portal part, but Jive will
be remaining.

Huh? I would expect that the hub name is merely a transitional thing -
you wouldn't
want to fiddle with the live site during the testing phase - but that
the name when it
goes live will be www and that hub will disappear. This is the main
os.org website,
after all, and calling it something other than www seems plain broken.

Exactly, during transition call it what ever you like but after the switch over these need to work:

http://opensolaris.org/bin/view/Community+Group+zfs
http://www.opensolaris.org/bin/view/Community+Group+zfs

If the website team wants to allow http://hub.opensolaris.org to continue to work as well no problem but the above two styles work today and they need to continue to work.
