Hi Penny,
FYI, the content preparation page explains that HTML anchors do not work
in XWiki. The solution is to use the XWiki Table of Contents (TOC)
macro in the XWiki page.
Attached is the text for the PDL FAQ as an example of how to use the toc
macro.
Hope that helps.

Hi Bonnie,
Links aren't working for the Zones FAQ either. I guess I need the
examples, too.
Thanks,
Penny

Hi Cindy,
The XWiki Table of Contents (TOC) macro is what you should use. I'm
happy to tsend you examples of FAQs on the site if you like. Let me
know. It's pretty easy to use.
Thanks.

Hi everyone,
I used JSP and media wikis but I can't figure out how to fix the link
text in all of my FAQs. All of my FAQ links are broken.
If I have a set of section links, like this:
section1
section2
section3
section1
.......
.......
.......
section2
.......
.......
section3
........
........
What is the link markup to link to each section?
Thanks,
Cindy

= FAQ: Public Documentation License

What is the Public Documentation License>>Main.pdl?
PDL is the Public Documentation License. It is a separate documentation license
to address the need for a license that allows Open Source communities to
collaborate on documentation that is not intended for inclusion or integration
in the project code base or in packaged distributions (e.g., "product").
What is new in PDL v1.01?
The PDL v1.01>>Main.pdl adds language restricting trademark usage to the
PDL v1.0>>http://www.openoffice.org/FAQs/faq-licensing.html#pdla that is
used by OpenOffice.org>>http://www.openoffice.org/.
Why was it updated?
The Public Documentation License v1.0 does not explicitly remove trademark
rights from the rights granted by the license. Section 5.9 in v1.01 was added
for this purpose. The CDDL>>Main.opensolaris_license has a similar
provision.
What kinds of documents can use the PDL v1.01?
The PDL v1.01 was created to allow Open Source communities to collaborate on
documentation available separately from an open source project or product. For
example:
* Technical manuals not distributed with the code,
* Presentation materials that support the OpenSolaris project,
* Software development framework documents,
* Technical articles.
Where can I find the license and more information?
See [[OpenSolaris Documentation License Information>>Community Group
documentation.license]] for the license text and additional information about
documentation that is covered under the CDDL>>Main.opensolaris_license.
