And as you say, it's the council that takes the revenue from the Brecon -
Newtown stretch. If you look at the stretch between Brecon and Merthyr the
population is very sparse indeed ...
Correction to what I wrote above: I meant of course that Powys CC take the
revenue from the *Merthyr* - Newtown section, that being the acvtual
contracted part of the route.
