I'll try to find the exact revision where the problems start later today, but
I think 1.3.2 already had problems.
I'm using g++ (GCC) 4.1.3 20070429 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.2-6), with
whatever compiler flags configure gives me (which means -O0 -DDEBUG -ggdb3
for the --enable-debug case, and -O2 in the normal case)
The problem occurs randomly. It happens with attacks (or defend) with a mage,
a shyde, or the sceptre of fire. I don't think the target matters. I have the
impression (but that could be wrong) that it happens more often when I get
further in a campaign. At that point the halo animations can get a bit jerky
as well, so it might be related to CPU load.
