If it makes you feel any better, I really wasn't expecting much
gratitude.  Not after the way the previously beautiful map art for
Dead Water was munged into a morass of ugly brown shit over my
vociferous protests, after I had spent so much effort producing it for
mainline.  That taught me a lesson, and it's why I haven't produced more
campaigns and have been generally scarce around here since.

Yes, bad taste and loud yelling and disruptive dick moves (like
reopening the hosting controversy after I had already put in 95% of
the effort required to move us) can often win out in a group like this
when they are pursued with sufficient determination.

The cost, though, is that they drive people like me away. Especially
when we have been whacked by them often enough to cease really expecting 
anything else.
