MS Paint in Windows XP has the ability to save files in GIF, JPEG, TIFF and PNG.
Just click File | Save As and at the bottom of the dialog to the right of Save
As Type click on the pull down list arrow box and you'll see the list of file
types that paint can save files in.

Yes, but unless you are running XP, your choices of saving are BMP only
(win2k has gif not sure about 9x). Then there is the fact that I have to
paste each image. If I am in the middle of setting up a machine, I want to
capture as the screens change without having to mess around with pasting,
saving files etc. It's a matter of efficiency, using ms paint isn't.
