I lost one city deal a few years ago because a new competitor came into the city council meeting the night I thought I would sign the deal and touted that his customers would get 54 Mbps for $24.99. My challenges went unheard, all the people wanted to hear was that he was faster and cost less than we did. I don't believe that company is still in business and I decided that I wasn't particularly fond of that market anyways.

Yeah, the guy I mentioned backs his "12" mbps wireless with a dsl line at the POP.
