If it was the pipe, wouldn't the tone be a single tone? It goes up and down in scale and makes what sounds like 4 notes. Even with the lasso at the top to stabilize the stick, the antenna does bow a bit in the wind and that's when the tone changes. If I put more of those "lassos" down the antenna to stabilize it, would it stop? Maybe if it IS the pvc I'd have an 8 part tune!
The poly rope goes through the PVC and is knotted. Do you think enough air still goes by it to make a tune?
