That's my fault then. I like to see incubating projects operating as much like a full project as possible. The role of PMC chair is important, the idea of the project graduating and there being nobody with experience of the roles of being a chair is a concern to me. We don't want projects graduating with either a chair who doesn't understand it is not a position of power, or b) not recognising their responsibilities to the board. That being said, I'm the champion here not a mentor, so I'll leave this one to the mentors. For this coming board report I've already stepped up to fill the gap, it's come roud very quicky since we voted at the end of last month. Ross
