I see jt65 signals in the wspr section on 30MHz I assume that other jt65 programs do not have the wspr section protected.

If your transceiver dial frequency set to 10.138000 MHz, USB mode, WSPR activity should be found between 2100 Hz and 2300 Hz on the WSJT-X waterfall. See the attached screen shot, made with my setup. WSPR signals are about 1/3 the width of JT9 signals, and they last for almost two full minutes. They are found under the orange-colored bar, which (on the 30 m band) is the "forbidden" region where WSJT-X refuses to transmit. If you find WSJT stations well outside the range 2100-2300 Hz, I can only conclude that your dial calibration is off by much more than 6 Hz.
