Hi Joe,
I've compiled the SVN head and am using it. The level meter color looks
good, but it may be a little better if the green could be a little darker
to have better contrast with the widget grey background. Can you try a
QColor(85,170,85) and see if it looks ok for you?
I agree with Keith's comment. Yellow on a light grey background is quite
difficult to see. For levels below the threshold, red or perhaps orange
could be used.
Mike's suggestion is quite interesting. It could be informative to show the
noise level. This could be a horizontal grey line over the signal bar.
