Attempts to code a pure Win32 multicast solution for JTAlert was never
successful. I tried several times.
The good news is that the current JTAlert Beta leverages the UDP
multicast support of the .NET framework. JTAlert will automatically
work with unicast or multicast WSJT-X UDP Server addresses without the
need for user changes to configurations or setting of unique udp
ports. I expect to make this beta release publicly available for
testing within the new couple of days.

Hi Laurie,
this is great news! Well done for getting to this point while still
supporting the current version, not an easy task.
