Merle, Absolutely admirable!
In spite of what some would have us believe Zen does not require total passivity and nihilism. Zen can equally be inspired by compassion and Buddha nature to be ACTIVE in the world to better make the manifestation of Buddha nature more visible and in balance in the world.
