Hi Arnaud, I am looking into the LSI SAS 3081 as well. My current understanding with mpt issues is that the "sticky" part of these problems is rather related to multipath features, that is using port multipliers or sas expanders. Avoiding these one should be fine. I am quite a newbie though. Just judging from what I read here.
